About Me

Welcome to Inspirations Photography from Linda Petersen. Serving the Sioux Falls and the state of South Dakota.

I've been dabbling in photography for most of my life. Capturing moments of success especially for publication in local newspapers and more recently, to update school district patrons on various webpages. I've recently expanded my passion for photography through shooting family, baby, engagement and senior portraits.
I have a passion for people and photography. It's my hope that I can capture and help preserve special memories and the amazing things that make each person unique.
I enjoy learning each day about the art and science of photography. I am continually growing through learning more about people and places that inspire me.

Channeling Sinatra?

I’ve been incredibly blessed to work with and get to shoot portraits of some pretty amazing students! One such student needed a few more traditional or formal studio type portraits. In a few of his shots, friends have suggested that perhaps Joe is channeling Sinatra!
